My story
My story of my hair and beauty career spans over at least 25 years - following is a brief indication of what I have done in that time:-
I have owned numerous successful salons, trained hairdressers and apprentices,freelanced in film and television, demonstrated styling at shows,
taught up-styling, established and operated a mobile/freelance hair and beauty franchise - where I helped other professionals to establish businesses
of their own, authoured hair and beauty business books, with the latest of all web designer of this website, and along the way a mother and wife.
Building this site has given me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience gained by my many years in the hair and beauty industry,
both for the customer and for other hair and beauty professionals.
Building a website was something I thought I would have to contract someone else to do for me - never in my wildest dreams did I think I could do it myself. Do you know
that the wonderful thing is that - I am in complete control of it.
And so my story unfolds below.
One evening some time ago I was browsing the internet - as you do. I opened my sisters web-site that I had heard she was building,
- I had also heard was doing very well. When the first page opened - it really surprised me actually.
I thought how did she learn to do all this, the site - looks great.
I was shocked because she was a kindergarden teacher and I knew this was not her field at all.
As I looked thru her site still in total amazement - I came across the video below - that night's browsing on the internet
has changed my life forever - into just what I have wanted and had been in search of for years.
I could see that I had finally found a way to achieve what had been growing and growing inside my head - I knew there had to be a way
but the answers were not forthcomming.
I couldn't believe it. So the first thing I did (had to do actually) was call my sister and say "why didn't you tell me about this "
So here I am today - putting together what had been growing in my head - and I might add "Loving it"
