Ideas for straight,thick hair?

I am searching for a short hairstyle that will work with (not against) my hair. It's currently on the shorter side with bangs and it is stick straight. It tends to grow forward, toward my face. What makes it so difficult is that there is a lot of it (it is VERY thick). My face is round and my hairline is rather low on my forehead. Do you have any style suggestions? Answer Hi Kelly, A style short with lots heavily and deeply chipped textured layers; cut towards your face should look great. Make sure though that your stylist chips and thins your hair enough at the forehead area so you can see your forehead through it, this will add more length to your face. Then drying will be a breeze – dry down and flat at the sides and front towards your face and blast the top dry to give a little more height and bounce to the style. This is very very easy to manage but will need to be re-cut at least every 4-6 weeks to keep it looking great. Comments on this from other hairdressers would be great – interesting to see what you come up with.>
