Perms needs special care.Find out about the "new perms" for hair available now All chemical services on hair require care in shampooing, styling and of course regular trims. My care recommendations for permed hair ![]() - Do not shampoo your hair for at least 48 hours after your service is done. You can dampen down with a water spray - for touching up your blow dry. Basically you must not have water running through it. The oxygen in the air will take 48 hours for your hair to harden back to it's normal state. - Use a good quality shampoo and always condition your hair when you wash it. Whilst the conditioner is on your hair- comb through starting at the ends and work you way up to the top. Remove all tangles before you rinse out. - Never- never brush wet hair to remove tangles. (This applies for regular hair as well). All hair is in a very elastic state when it is wet and a brush will put too much strain on it and it will break when under pressure. This is increased when hair is chemically treated - so that goes for colored hair too! ![]() Visit our hairstyle gallery - Do not apply a deep conditioning treatment in the first week after your chemical service. This has a high chance of softening your hair so much that you may lose a good deal of your curl, or make the nice bouncy curl sit limp. - Do not have any other chemical service like hair color for at least 1 week afterwards. Body does not always mean curl - the picture to the right has root lift for body. ![]() Treat your curl with kindness - actually always treat your hair with kindness and it will reward you by looking great!!!!
