Problem with the front/crown area

Hi: I always have problems styling the top crown area of my hair. I wear my hair over to the side with a small amount of bangs. I also like height in my crown area. My stylist has repeatedly showed me what to do and after I leave the salon I can style my hair for a while then seems I forget and have trouble again. Seems I end up with a separation between my crown area and the part that goes over to the side. I work with it so much in the morning I have sweat running down the sides of my face. I work the hair so much what body I gave myself I end up working back out again. There has to be a method to the madness. I have gone as far as video taping my stylist doing my hair. I go to work every morning with overworked-over hair sprayed hair. The sides I am good with. It is just the top and crown area. Any help would be appreciated. A video would be great. I have attached a picture of me having a good hairday. I also have a video of my stylist doing my hair. Thank you. Answer Hi there, A very tricky question but I will try to help. First, speak to your stylist and ensure that you are not trying to style your hair against the way it wants to sit naturally. (That battle is rarely won) Secondly you may find hot rollers , large tongs, or even Velcro rollers will help to give the body, height and direction needed to solve your problem – ask your stylist about these also. The more I read your letter the more I think you must be trying to style your hair against its natural growth. Good luck Easy hairstyles everyday We would certainly be interested in comments from other stylists regarding this question.
