short curly hair

I am in my mid fifties and have short brown fine curly hair. I want a modern textured look (not greasy) Nice cut and easy to manage. It dries out very easily. Have you got any suggestions? Kind regards Michele

Hi Michele,
I must say my job would be a lot simpler if I had a photo. One of the best ways to get the appearance of texture is with varying color; try a few shades lighter and a few shades darker foils.
Then the cut – speak to a hairdresser about what type of short style would suit your features, and then ask about your care regimen at home to deal with the dryness. My thoughts are to go with quite short hair – especially around the hairline with the lengths at the top quite choppy.
This with the color should give you a great short textured and easy-care look.
