What's the perfect color for me?

I have naturally dark brown hair with some red undertones. About 7 years ago, I began going to a stylist to get caramel and light brown highlights put in. Problem is that now I'm not really sure if this is the look for me. I envy all of those celebrities who have stylists that know exactly the color they need to make them look their best! So, I came here hoping you could tell me the hair color that will compliment me the best. Any advice?

Hi there,
In the photo you sent your hair color appears to be faded. Caramel and light brown are very similar colors - and have blended to give an all over faded effect.
Suggestion I suggest that you add more (richer) color with contrasts to complement your complexion tones. So ask your stylist for reverse foils in a similar color to your natural tone with some caramel foils. The desired result would be a medium -dark brown with scattered caramel foils for light and texture. Ask you stylist for advice regarding fading, you may need to have booster color to the mid-lengths and ends regularly to keep the color even all the way to the ends. Avoid a lot of gold tones in your hair – it is not complementary to your skin tone.
Use the best quality maintenance products you can afford. Send us a before and after we would love to see it.

Good luck

PS- I corrected your problem with your photo - it was too large a file. S
